Grandstream

This instruction explains, how to start a network and a SIP-trace on Grandstream end devices and DECT bases.

The following instruction is about the Web Interface of the device. To access this interface, enter the IP-Address of Your Device in the Browser.

Activate Trace

First You need to activate the SIP Trace to allow the System to capture pakets. You do this in the tab "Advanced Settings" under "System Settings".

Here set the Option "Send SIP Log" to "Yes".

Afterwards save the settings with "Apply".

Now You can find a continuous capture of the SIP pakets in the tab "Status" under "SIP File".

Start a new capture, by deleting the old SIP pakets with the button "Delete".

The capture kann be downloaded as log file using "Download".

Alternatively You can preview the capture inside the Browser using "Preview", where only the last 100 pakets are shown.
