FRITZ!Box

This instruction explains, how to start a network and a SIP-trace on FRITZ!Box end devices.

Not every FRITZ!Box device is explained here.

The following instruction is about the Web Interface of the device. To access this interface, enter the IP-Address of Your Device in the Browser.

  • e.g. http://192.168.80.111

Open Tracing website​

To start a trace on a FRITZ!Box, enter the URL https://(FRITZ!BoxIP)/html/capture.html in the Browser.

  • e.g. https://192.168.80.131/html/capture.html

Here You can see different network interfaces. Depending on the FRITZ!Box application, the labels may vary, but "Interface 0" is always responsible for Internet access.

Start capture​

Start a capture of the corresponding interface using "Start", which initiates a trace of all packets passing through the interface.

Stop capture​

End the capture using "Stop". It then downloads automatically as an ETH file.
