General Voicemail Boxes

General voicemail boxes are used to allow multiple agents to access the same voicemail. This is achieved using a virtual Extension.

Configuration

Click on the "Applications" tab and select the "Extensions" menu item.

Under "Add Extension", click on "Add New Virtual Extension".

Voicemail

The following configuration must be entered:

• Enabled: select "Yes"
• Voicemail Password: <Extension number>
• Email Address: <Email address for incoming emails>
• Email Attachment: select "Yes"

Finally, click on "Submit" and "Apply Config".

To check the voicemail of another extension, dial the feature code *98 and follow the voice instructions.
