Announcements

"Announcements" are used to play a System Recording without allowing the caller to provide any input. Afterwards, the caller is redirected to another destination.

Configuration

Click on the "Applications" tab and select the "Announcements" menu item.

To add an "Announcement", click on "Add".

The following settings are relevant when creating a new announcement:

• Description: <Name for the announcement>
• Recording: <The system recording to be used>
• Repeat: <Play the system recording again>
• Destination after Playback: <Destination after the system recording has been played>

Finally, click on "Submit" and "Apply Config".
