Which codecs does sipcall support?​

sipcall supports the following codecs:

  • G722
  • PCMA (G711a)
  • PCMU (G711u)
  • G729
  • G726
  • T.38
  • telephone-event
  • H264
  • OPUS

Which codecs does sipcall recommend?​

We recommend configuring no more than three codecs on your device:

  1. Priority: G722
  2. Priority: G711a
  3. Priority: G711u

The audio codecs G711a or G711u are supported by most providers and devices, while G722 is an HD audio codec and is supported by some providers.
