Zoiper (iOS)

The free version of the "Zoiper" app does not send push notifications. This means incoming calls are only signaled when the app is open.

Subscribe to the "Push Service" in the "Zoiper" app if you want to receive incoming calls at all times.

This guide explains how to download the "Zoiper" app on your iOS device and configure or provision your desired sipcall phone number in a few simple steps.

Download

Open the "App Store" on your iOS device and search for "Zoiper Lite voip soft phone". Download the app and follow the on-screen instructions to install it.

Account setup

  1. Open the "Zoiper" app to configure it directly on your device. Tap the "QR Code" icon in the top left corner.

  1. The app will now activate your device's camera. Please scan the following QR code.
  1. The configuration data can be found in the customer portal under "Phone numbers" -> "Phone number overview". Click on the desired phone number to view the configuration data (within the "SIP-Data" card).

  1. Confirm these entries by tapping the "Login" button. The data you entered will be saved, and the sipcall phone number will be registered.

If the app successfully registers your sipcall phone number, the registration status will display as "OK". Tap "Accounts" in the top left corner to return to the account overview. The newly configured SIP account will be marked with a green checkmark (✔).

Testing

Now test your VoIP application by making both an incoming and an outgoing call.

Calls to other sipcall numbers are possible without a balance, while calls to paid landline or mobile networks require sufficient funds in your sipcall account.
