This installation guide explains the phone configuration of your device via the web interface. To access the web interface, enter the IP address of your device into the address bar of your web browser.
If you do not know how to locate the IP address of your device, please refer to the instructions/information in the manufacturer's manual.
Registration
Access your device via the IP address. On the left side, expand the "Account" menu and click on the "Register" submenu to configure a sipcall phone number.
The configuration data can be found in the customer portal under "Phone numbers" -> "Phone number overview". Click on the desired phone number to view the configuration data (within the "SIP-Data" card).

Configuration
Codec
Next, open the Codec settings.
Leave the codecs "G722", "PCMA" and "PCMU" in the "Enabled" field. All other codecs must be moved to the "Disabled" field.
Next, the codecs must be arranged in the following order:
- G722
- PCMA
- PCMU
BLF setup (optional)
Details
This function is optional and does not need to be configured. With this BLF (Busy Lamp Field) setup, the following functions are configured:
- Presence Management (Status display)
- Call pickup
This option is only available for sipcall collective accounts (sipcall pro, sipcall business and sipcall callcenter).
Access your device via the IP address. Expand the "Account" menu on the left side and click on the "Advanced" submenu. Ensure that you have selected the correct Account for this adjustment.
Now enter the value *40
in the "Directed Call Pickup Code" field. To confirm this entry, click the "Confirm" button.
Expand the "Features" menu on the left side and click on the "Pickup & Park" submenu.
Activate the toggle button "Directed Call Pickup" and enter the value *40
again in the "Directed Call Pickup Code" field. Confirm the entries by clicking the "Confirm" button.
Expand the "Dsskey" menu on the left side and click on the "Line Key" submenu.
Enter the configuration data as described below.
Type: BLF
Value: <Monitored phone number>

Label: Label, e.g. Reception
Line: Line that should refer to BLF.

* Define in this field which phone number should be monitored. Please enter the phone number in the following format: 41442005001
** Here, select the line that the BLF should refer, meaning the line that allows you to pick up the call.
Save the entries by clicking the "Confirm" button.
For BLF to function properly, all devices used must be registered on the same SIP server.
Testing
Now test your VoIP phone by making both an incoming and outgoing call.
Calls to other sipcall numbers are possible without credit, while calls to paid landline or mobile networks require a sufficient balance on your sipcall account.
