You can find the IP address via the display menu of the respective device. If you are on the same LAN, you can alternatively access the following address in your browser:

User details

Log into the web interface to view your user details. These will be necessary for the remainder of the installation.

Configuration

Access your device via the IP address. After logging in, go to the "Einstellungen" menu and then to the "Telefonie" submenu in the left navigation. Next, select a VoIP connection to configure a sipcall phone number on. Click "Bearbeiten" to start the configuration.

The configuration data can be found in the customer portal under "Phone numbers" -> "Phone number overview". Click on the desired phone number to view the configuration data (within the "SIP-Data" card).

Next, click on the "Anzeigen" button under "Erweiterte Einstellungen". The menu "Allgemeine Anmeldedaten Ihres VoIP-Providers" will now appear.

The configuration data can be found in the customer portal under "Phone numbers" -> "Phone number overview". Click on the desired phone number to view the configuration data (within the "SIP-Data" card).

Now, scroll further down in this view and go to the menu "Allgemeine Netzwerkdaten Ihres VoIP-Providers".

Enter the value "10" in the "NAT-Refreshzeit [Sek]" field.

No further entries are required. To confirm all your inputs, click the "Sichern" button at the bottom.

BLF setup (optional)

Details

This function is optional and does not need to be configured. With this BLF (Busy Lamp Field) setup, the following functions are configured:

  • Presence Management (Status display)
  • Call pickup

If you want to set up these functions on your device, log in to your personal sipcall user account in the sipcall customer portal. Configure the settings by navigating to "Products" → "sipcall virtual pbx". Then, in the "Call pickup and BLF" card, click "Edit".

This option is only available for sipcall collective accounts (sipcall pro, sipcall business and sipcall callcenter).

After successful configuration in your sipcall user account:

Access your device via the IP address. After logging in, click on the "Einstellungen" tab and then navigate to the "Funktionstasten" submenu in the left-hand navigation.

In the "Funktionstasten" menu, you will find the submenu "Programmierbare Tasten".

Now select a key where you want to configure the BLF and then click "Bearbeiten".

Enter the configuration data as described below. In the screenshot above, it shows which value should be entered in each field:

Rufnummer: <Monitored phone number> 3
Code für die Rufübernahme: *40

To confirm all your entries, click the "Save" button.

Testing

Now test your VoIP phone by making both an incoming and outgoing call.

Calls to other sipcall numbers are possible without credit, while calls to paid landline or mobile networks require a sufficient balance on your sipcall account.
