Cisco ATA19x
This installation guide explains the phone configuration of your device via the web interface and provides useful information and tips about the device.
To access the web interface, enter the IP address of your device into the address bar of your web browser.
If you do not know how to find the IP address of your device, please refer to the instructions/information in the manufacturer's manual.
Ports
The labels for the ports on the Cisco ATA19X can be found on the back of the device.

- PHONE 1: Port for your analog phone
- PHONE 2: Port for a second analog phone (for an additional device, you will need a separate user account)
- INTERNET: Connection to a network
- POWER: Connector for the supplied power adapter
Installation
Before you begin the installation, make sure that you:
- Have an active internet connection
- Own an analog phone
- Have a computer available to configure the Cisco ATA19X
Now begin the network installation and follow these steps:
- Connect your phone to the "PHONE 1" port on your Cisco ATA19X using a telephone cable (RJ-11).
- Connect the "INTERNET" port of your Cisco ATA19X to your network using a network cable.
- Plug the Cisco ATA19X into a power outlet using the provided power adapter.
- Pick up the handset of the phone connected to the Cisco ATA19X.
- Dial **** followed by 110# to retrieve the IP address.
- Write down the displayed IP address.
Firmware update
Please note that using the "Mozilla Firefox" browser may cause issues. If possible, use another browser (e.g., Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome).
Open your web browser.
Now enter the noted IP address (z.B. http://192.168.80.121) into the address bar of your browser and press the Enter key. Note down the version of your Cisco ATA19X (this is displayed on the login page of the device).

Now open another browser window and check the Cisco homepage to see if a newer firmware version is available. Click here to go directly to the Cisco homepage. Then, you can click on the version of your ATA adapter to verify if an update is available.
If a newer version is available, download it to your computer by clicking the "Download" button.
If your ATA19X is already equipped with the latest firmware, you can skip to the Configuration section.
The following login credentials are stored in the factory settings:
Username: admin
Password: admin
Extract the downloaded file and then log in to your Cisco ATA19X.
Now navigate to the "Administration" tab and then select "Firmware Upgrade" from the left-hand menu.

Next, click on "Browse..." and select the file you just extracted (xxx.bin). Start the upgrade by clicking the "Upgrade" button.

Configuration
Please note that using the "Mozilla Firefox" browser may cause issues. If possible, use another browser (e.g., Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome).
Open your web browser.
Now enter the noted IP address into the address bar of your browser and press the Enter key.

The following login credentials are stored in the factory settings:
Username: admin
Password: admin
Log in to your Cisco ATA19X.
Now navigate to the "Voice" tab and then select "Line 1" from the left-hand menu.

"Line 1" corresponds to the "PHONE 1" port. If you have connected another device to "PHONE 2", repeat the following settings for "Line 2".

The configuration data can be found in the customer portal under "Phone numbers" -> "Phone number overview". Click on the desired phone number to view the configuration data (within the "SIP-Data" card).
Proxy and Registration

NAT Keep Alive
Enable "NAT Keep Alive".

Audio configuration (Codec)
Adjust the audio configuration as shown below.

Then click the "Submit" button to save the changes.
SIP
This device uses SIP port UDP 5060 by default for call signaling and RTP ports UDP 16384-16482 for voice data transmission.
Select the "SIP" option from the left-hand navigation menu.

Next, adjust the "RTP Parameters" as follows.

Then click the "Submit" button to save the changes.
Interactive Voice Response Menu
You can also configure the Cisco ATA19X without a computer using an analog phone. To do this, connect the phone to the "PHONE 1" port on your Cisco ATA19X.
To access the "Interactive Voice Response" menu, press the star key (****) four times on your phone. Wait until you hear the message "Linksys configuration menu. Please enter the option followed by the # (pound) key or hang up to exit".
In the manual, you will find a range of options that allow you to query the status of the Cisco ATA19X. Complete each entry by pressing the pound key (#).
Testing
Now test your VoIP phone by making both an incoming and outgoing call.
Calls to other sipcall numbers are possible without credit, while calls to paid landline or mobile networks require a sufficient balance on your sipcall account.
