Aastra 6753, Aastra 6755i and Aastra 6757i are end of life.
This installation guide explains the phone configuration of your Mitel desk phone for use with the sipcall virtual PBX. To access the web interface, enter the IP address of your device into the address bar of your web browser.
If you do not know how to find the IP address of your device, please refer to the instructions/information in the manufacturer's manual.
Registration
In the factory settings are stored the following login credentials:
Username: admin
Password: 22222
Access your device via the IP address. Under the "Advanced Settings" menu, select the "Line 1" submenu to configure a sipcall phone number.
The configuration data can be found in the customer portal under "Phone numbers" -> "Phone number overview". Click on the desired phone number to view the configuration data (within the "SIP-Data" card).
Phone Number: <Username>
Authentication Name: <Username>
Password: <VoIP password>
Proxy Server: <SIP server>
Registrar Server: <SIP server>
Confirm these entries by clicking the "Save Settings" button.
Configuration
Codec
Under the "Advanced Settings" menu, select the "Global SIP" submenu to adjust the "Codec Preference List".
The following settings must be applied:
- Codec 1 = G.722
- Codec 2 = G.711a (8k)
- Codec 3 = G.711u (8k)
Forwarding / Transferring
Please note that, depending on the model, the transfer button may be assigned to one of the system keys. Detailed information can be found in your phone's documentation.

Testing
Now test your VoIP phone by making both an incoming and outgoing call.
Calls to other sipcall numbers are possible without credit, while calls to paid landline or mobile networks require a sufficient balance on your sipcall account.
