Caller ID Suppression
Caller ID suppression allows you to make anonymous calls.
Depending on your needs, you can manage this using different configurations.
We describe all three options below.

Emergency services and telephone providers can still see your number, even if it is suppressed.
A phone number can be suppressed in three different ways:
A: Flexible via Teams configuration

Suppress your number flexibly using Teams configuration.
- Advantage: The Teams user can enable or disable caller ID suppression directly in the Teams app.
- Disadvantage: Configuration via PowerShell or the Teams Admin Center is required.
B: Permanent via the sipcall customer portal

Permanently suppress your number using the sipcall customer portal
- Advantage: Easy to set up.
- Disadvantage: The Teams user cannot make any changes.
C: Single call via service code

Make a single anonymous call
- Advantage: Ideal for occasional use.
- Disadvantage: The target number needs to be edited.
