VoiceBox Configuration via Phone
This guide explains how to configure the VoiceBox via phone.
Please note that not all features are available with this method.
Menu Structure
Dialing In
- Accessing the VoiceBox from your own device

From the phone where the VoiceBox is configured, you can access your VoiceBox by dialing *98
.
- Dial

) and follow the system instructions. - Announcement: "Please enter your account number and press the hash key" → Enter your phone number in international format without "00" (e.g.,
41441234567
) and press the hash key (#
). - Announcement: "Please enter your password and press the hash key" → Enter the defined password (PIN) and press the hash key (

). - The default PIN is
777
. We recommend changing it. See the section: Changing the Password.
Configuration / Operation
After logging in as described above, the system will automatically inform you whether there are new messages.
- Pressing key 1 (listen to messages) allows you to listen to new messages or replay previously heard messages.
- Pressing the
*
key exits the VoiceBox. - The following options are available for the current message:
- Key 4: Replay the message
- Key 5: Listen to the date and time of the recording
- Key 7: Delete the message
- Key 9: Save the message

Personal Settings
After logging in, access "Personal Settings" by pressing Key 3. In this menu, you have the following options:
- Key 2: Administrative Settings
- Key 3: Greetings

Administrative Settings
The "Administrative Settings" menu includes:
- Key 1: Changing the Password
- Key 3: Changing the Input Level
- Key 4: Date and Time Settings
- Key 6: Auto-Play Settings

Changing the Password
Path to change the password
After pressing Key 1 to change the password, enter your new password when prompted and confirm with the # key. The password must be a maximum of 10 digits long. Once entered, the system will confirm your new password.
Changing the Input Level
Path to change the input level
This setting controls the level of voice prompts given by the system. The system will first inform you of the current level. Press the appropriate key to adjust the setting:
- Key 1: Standard prompts
- Key 2: Extended prompts
- Key 3: Quick prompts

Date and Time Settings

If enabled, messages will include a timestamp when played. The system will indicate whether this function is on or off.
- Key 1: Enable "Date and Time"
- Key 2: Disable "Date and Time"

When Auto-Play is enabled, messages are played automatically. The system will indicate the current status.

Greetings

Activate this feature to record a custom greeting.
- Press Key 1 to start recording.
- Speak your message after the tone and confirm with the

Personal Greeting
Path to Personal Greetings
Choose between a Standard Greeting and a Personal Greeting:
- Key 1: Activate Standard Greeting
- Key 2: Record Personal Greeting
The Standard Greeting says:
"The person you are trying to reach is not available, please leave a message."
To record a Personal Greeting, press Key 2, speak your message, and confirm with #
key.
Recorded Name
Path to Recorded Name
This option allows you to record only your name (e.g., "John Doe"), which will be played in the greeting:
"You have reached the mailbox of John Doe, please leave a message."
Press Key 3, record your name, and confirm with the #
key.
